"Trenton Makes" - New York City

"Trenton Makes", a juried exhibition presented by the Trenton Museum Society and the Trenton Artists Workshop Association (TAWA) is a two-city exhibit taking place in Trenton and New York City - I have paintings in both halves of the show, and the New York City portion of the show begins this week at:

Gallery Hours: Tuesdays through Saturdays, 11 am - 6 pm

The show runs July 31 through August 18, 2012.
Opening Reception is Thursday, August 2, from 5 to 8 pm

The Trenton portion of the show runs until Sept 1, 2012 at Ellarslie, The Trenton City Museum.

July at Artists' Gallery

"Trenton Makes" at Ellarslie

"Trenton Makes", a juried exhibition presented by the Trenton Museum Society and the Trenton Artists Workshop Association (TAWA) is a two-city exhibit taking place in Trenton and New York City and I have paintings juried into both halves of the show.

The Trenton exhibit is taking place at Ellarslie, the Trenton City Museum from June 23 through September 1, 2012 and will include this painting of the South Branch of the Raritan River near Flemington, NJ:

Final Weekend - Sharing the Moment

"Sharing the Moment", my show with Jo-Ann Osnoe is ending this weekend, and the last 3 days of the show are this Friday, Saturday & Sunday, May 4, 5 & 6, 11am to 6pm each day.

We are having a closing reception on the final day of the show: Sunday, May 6 from 2 to 5pm.  If you haven't seen the show yet, this is your last chance!  The show is at:

Lambertville Shad Festival & Sharing the Moment

This weekend is the 31st Annual Shad Festival in Lambertville, taking place Saturday & Sunday, April 28 & 29.   The festival features artists, crafters, lots of food and family entertainment.

Artists' Gallery will be open 11am-6pm as usual Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  If you're in town for Shad Fest, be sure to stop in and see my show "Sharing the Moment", running now through May 6.   Here are a few winter scenes that I have in the show:

The above 2 paintings are different ends of the same field - they go together something like this, but with a lot more space in between (I guess that means I need another painting or 2 of that field):

This last one is directly across the street from the above field.  All 3 of these winter scenes are from a short stretch of Woodfern Road, near Neshanic Station, NJ:

Railroads - Sharing the Moment

Here are a few railroad-themed paintings that I have in my show "Sharing the Moment", currently running at Artists' Gallery in Lambertville, NJ:

"Raritan River Crossing"

This painting is on the South Branch of the Raritan River near Flemington, NJ.  The rusted old railroad bridge belongs to the Black River & Western Railroad and doesn't look like it's been used in a long time.

This painting is on the D&R Canal in Ewing, NJ.   The railroad bridge is used by the Septa West Trenton Line.  The small bridge in the distance is Lower Ferry Road.

"Sunset Over the Tracks"

This painting is further up the West Trenton Line, near Blawenburg, NJ.   This section is only used by freight trains.
