Art Card Giveaway

The next opening reception at the Artists' Gallery is on Saturday February 10 from 6pm to 9pm. The show is called Passions - a Valentine's theme where we get to show our most passionate work. My own work is almost completely devoid of people, but I'll find my lushest landscapes to show.

At this opening, we're doing something new: all of the artists have created some 4"x6" postcard sized original artworks which we'll be giving away for free throughout the evening. Although I usually do work small, I was having trouble making a 4x6" landscape work, so I went with something different - my art cards will be whimsical pen & ink and watercolor drawings. I've always enjoyed drawing like this, but I've never shown these in public - so here's your chance to see another side of me, and to possibly win an original piece of art in our art card giveaway!

Note that these are not ACEOs or ATCs - those cards are pretty popular lately, but they must be 2.5" x 3.5" to be labeled as ACEO. These are 4"x6", which gives us a little more elbow room to work.
